Outfit des Monats 02.2010

I felt like making an outfit that has an overall optimistic feeling, a symbol for letting bad feelings go. I wanted to choose colours that are muted, not too bold but steady. Like someone who isn't bright bright happy but optimistic from the bottom up. And I felt like the hot-air balloon print on the dress and the flower motifs in that outfit would support the idea the best.

Besides of that, I am very fond of incorporating/finding offbrand stuff that goes well with the Lolita style.

Ich hatte das Bedürfnis ein Outfit zusammenzustellen, das ein optimistisches Gefühl ausdrückt; ein Outfit, das ein Symbol dafür ist schlechte Gefühle gehen zu lassen. 

Dafür wollte ich zurückhaltende Farben benutzen, solche die nicht zu kräftig und leuchtend sind, sondern beständig und ruhig. Wie jemand, der nicht übermäßig fröhlich, aber von Grund auf optimistisch ist. 

Und ich hatte das Gefühl, dass der Heißluftballon-Druck auf dem Kleid und die Blumenmotive im Outfit diese Idee am besten ausdrücken. 

Außerdem bin ich grundsätzlich ein Freund davon Sachen zu finden und einzubauen, die von keiner Lolita-Marke sind, aber zu diesem Stil passen.
